Because It's Fusion Bonded Polyester Quilt Batting At It's Best.
This batting features a non-woven cotton cover affixed to both sides of the batting.
The subtle, easy to work with cover, eliminates any fiber migration or bearding
(fibers bleeding through the fabric). It also eliminates any stretch.
This beautifully created batting is very uniform.
It lies perfectly flat and under normal use will never ever tear?
(Even when stretched on a long arm quilting machine).
Availiable by the yard or in pre-cut packages.
Our heirloom quilt batting is 100% washable and is suitable for quilting by hand or machine.
It also makes and excellent liner for wearable art projects (quilted jackets and vests).
IMPORTANT:
Because the non-woven cotton cover adds so much strength, distances can be greatly increased up to the point of simply tacking down the batting in various spots.
Special high loft double laminated batting:
This extra high loft comfort weight quilt batting has the same benefits as outlined above. However, it has distinct advantages when used for faux trapunto. These are as follows:
Because the non-woven cover adds body to product, it holds it's "poof' in those areas were it is necessary.
In the areas were the batting is to be removed, you simply cuts away the product until the bottom layer of the non woven cover is visible then STOP.
Helps to prevent cutting the fabric.

Quilting Choice pre cut polyester quilt batting is manufactured using an extremely fine denier micro fiber that forms a dense cross link matrix for unsurpassed strength and stability. We then use and additional heat process to seal the batting against fiber migration or bearding and eliminate any stretch. The hand is superb!
This batting is excellent for light weight quilts, wall hangings, and especially wearable art. Any application that needs "just a little body".
Basic pre-cut polyester quilt batting is manufactured with the highest grade silicone slick fibers. The use of slick fiber eliminates needle drag and heat build up.
Basic pre-cut polyester is also available on rolls by the yard as #RB3/50 or RB6/100.
Higher loft pre-cut polyester quilt batting is manufactured using fusion bonded silicone slick fiber. All the benefits of our basic pre-cut polyester quilt batting but a little bit more loft for a slightly richer look.
Higher loft pre-cut polyester quilt batting is available on rolls as #RB-4/50 and RB-8/100.
